Flight Discovery

For Discovery Time on Friday we investigated flight. We looked at lots of different things that can fly. Some of us decided to make a kite and see if we could get it to fly. We had to Think Flexibly and Think about our Thinking to make sure that the kites we made would fly. We also Created and Innovated to make sure that are kites looked awesome when they were up in the sky! Here are some photos of us making the kites.

Welcome to Term 4

Hi everyone, and welcome to Term 4. It looks like this is going to be another action packed term. We have Parent/Teacher Conferences in Week 3 where I will be lucky enough to meet with all the parents and caregivers and update them on how the amazing Mindful Monsters are progressing in their learning. Also in week 3, we have a Halloween Disco which I am sure will be lots of fun. In Week 7 the Busy Bees will be hosting a Disco as well as putting down a Hangi, which we can't wait for! In Week 8 there will be a whole-school cultural show which promises to be an amazing spectacle.
