Mindful Monsters are Mad Scientists!

In Weeks 4 and 5 we became Mad Scientists. We did lots of really cool experiments and then did some amazing writing based on them. We made our own Lava Lamps, blew up a balloon with baking soda and vinegar and even made a volcano. Our favourite experiment was when we got to make sherbet using icing sugar, citric acid, baking soda and jelly crystals. This is us enjoying the results!

We went to the zoo!

In Term 2 the Busy Bee's were so lucky. We got to go to the zoo! We saw so many different animals like an alligator, a tiger, a lion and a giraffe. It was amazing.

Mindful Monster's Assembly

In Week 1, we hosted the school assembly. We worked really hard to make sure we gave an awesome performance. We hope you enjoy our play and our song.

Rhythm Interactive Show

On Thursday 9 May Rhythm Interactive came to school and did a show for us. It was amazing because we got to join in and use the drums as well. We had to use lots of our Habits like Listening, Making It Right and Five Senses.

HOM Music Video

We were given Thinking Flexibly as our HOM song. We thought flexibly and changed the song by adding a rap! We discovered that many of the Mindful Monsters are awesome rappers and break-dancers! We hope you enjoy watching our music video as much as we enjoyed making it!

Mindful Monsters Branding

We had so much fun becoming the Mindful Monsters and getting to know each other. We created a secret handshake, a motto and we learnt the Monster Mash. Check out the video...
